FirstHope Homeless Initiative

I was a stranger and ye took me in...

Matthew 25:35

The First Baptist Church-Hoxie is committed  to restoring the broken. Over the past decade, we have engaged many of the problems that face our community. However, our community lacks sufficient assistance  in the area of shelter. Many people simply move from couch to couch, wander from place to place, and sleep on the streets. To began to heal this area of brokenness in our community, the First Baptist Church-Hoxie has created the FirstHope Homeless Initiative. This initiative is the first step toward a full time facility to provide shelter for those in need.  Currently, we are developing a plan to put the shelter in place by the end of 2024.
Presently, First Baptist Church-Hoxie is receiving donations for the development of The FirstHope Homeless Shelter.  You may make a donation of any amount paid to the order of the First Baptist Church-Hoxie, Memo: FirstHope Homeless Initiative, 200 SW Lindsey Street, Hoxie, Arkansas 72433 or online under the give tab.  At a later date, we will be accepting donations of tangible items to meet the needs of our community.
